Christ Church Campbellford is part of the Rice Lake Regional Ministry and a tri-point parish with the worship communities of St George’s Hastings and St James Roseneath.

At present, worship is in-church. We invite you to join us at 9am on Sunday mornings.  Masks are not currently necessary, but if you feel more comfortable, masks are welcome and provided if you forgot yours. We look forward to meeting you!

If there are restrictions on in-person worship, all three churches share in worship online, using the web conferencing tool Zoom.

You can join our mailing list to receive the service bulletin for the week and our worship services are taped so that you can watch them on YouTube at your convenience (if you’re unable to join us in person).

– MISSION –

We are a congregation committed to the establishment of a place and presence in which to worship God, proclaim his kingdom, and make known the love of God in Christ Jesus through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

Philippians 4:13 (NRSV-A)

About Christ Church

Serving our community with dedication since 1835

The church opened for worship with no pews or pulpit. The congregation sat on pine boards placed on blocks of wood. The minister stood on a raised board and used a rough wooden desk.

November 1854 was the date of the first worship service, but the ministrations of Anglican clergy had been going in this area from 1835, the founding year of Anglican worship and witness in this part of Seymour Township.

2005 marked the 150th anniversary of the church building, and today in 2023 the parish community is still following in the paths of the early settlers, contributing their time, talents, and treasure to strengthen, support, broaden and affirm the life of Christ Church in the town of Campbellford.
